We all take thousands of photos a year.

Most of them are useless. Interesting only to us in the moment.

But the practice itself is the point.

Aesthetics all around us

Photography forces attention. You can't capture what you don't notice, and the act of looking for images changes how you move through the world.

I believe in beauty and aesthetics surrounding us everywhere we look, but we lost the discipline of looking and our eye for aesthetics.

I see the act of taking photos as an approach to revive that.
